A musical evening with singing and piano. The chanson and song singer Annette Meisl is accompanied with great empathy by the Munich jazz pianist Nick von der Nahmer. She presents her own songs and ballads that make you think about love. The frivolous alternates with the melancholic, the piquant with the dramatic. Their songs are reminiscent of the Golden Twenties, follow the tradition of a Friedrich Dutchman, and are inspired by Marlene Dietrich and the many Diseuses of bygone times.

It's about loneliness on a rainy night that ends with breakfast that the protagonist shares with a stranger, about missed kisses and wild entanglements in houses without names on the doorbells. Annette Meisl, who works as an author in addition to music, looks back on a varied career that culminated in the creation of her cigar culture salon La Galana in Cologne, which is reminiscent of a bar in Old Havana. Her novel “Five Men for Me” caused heated discussions about the role of women in the media from Plasberg to Markus Lanz, which she also brought to the stage as a musical cabaret.
